Although the events may have absolutely nothing to do with movies, watching films is not the point — yet, says Debby Samples, marketing and membership director for the Cleveland International Film Festival.
“It’s really about celebrating film, art and food in Cleveland,” she says of the annual Film Feast series that features three food-focused forums this month. “The idea is to cultivate our audience and get the festival on people’s radars.”
The Film Feast series, in its seventh season, also raises money for the film festival, which will be held March 18 to 28, 2010, at Tower City Cinemas. For a full Film Feast schedule or to make a reservation, go to clevelandfilm.org.
