If you’re over knocking back trendy sours, goses and smoked beers, Sibling Revelry is the place for you. “As much as people like what’s new, they also like comfort,” says brewmaster Pete Velez. “We like to put out beers that people can drink without getting too inebriated.”
The Westlake brewery’s premise of drinkability is on full display with a 22-handle taproom where you’ll find approachable options such as its Olly Olly Gluten Free ($7 for 16 ounces) and the Sibling Revelry Red ($6 for 16 ounces), a balanced brew that’s not too bitter, not too sweet. But that doesn’t mean Velez lacks creativity.
Summertime means fruity sours and lime lagers while colder weather gives way to imperial chocolate stouts. Our Pick: The Augusta Peach Wheat ($6 for 16 ounces), a refreshing American wheat IPA brewed with Georgia peaches. 29305 Clemens Road, Westlake, 440-471-8589, srbrew.com
