It's communal yet private. Cozy and still spacious. Comfortable but stylish. Perched in the front window of Ohio City's Touch Supper Club, the half-circle booth is a destination all its own — the spot to relax over drinks, enjoy a meal, listen to music and then linger some more. In effect, it's the definition of a 1940s supper club, padded in brown leather and accented with copper-toned pillows. Overlooking Lorain Avenue, the capstone table seats six to eight and provides a stage to people-watch, socialize and take it all in. So whether it's Thursday for tacos (at two-for-$5, we suggest the slow beer braised Carolina-style pork with cherry ancho barbecue and tofu with garlic kimchee and house sauce) or as a crash-landing spot for Sunday brunch (it's oh-so-close to the bloody mary bar for the mornings when that matters), there's something timeless about being here. 2710 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, 216-631-5200, touchohiocity.com
