A Tremont favorite is back in business.
Rowley Inn will be reopening to the public this Friday, Dec. 8, says owner Jon Oberman.
The restaurant has been closed since Aug. 7 in order to remodel the kitchen. On Tuesday, the kitchen passed its final health inspection by the city of Cleveland and the green light to open the doors back up was given.
This didn’t come without hiccups, as the inspection was scheduled to take place last week, but Oberman mentioned that a convection oven wasn’t working properly meaning it had to be further delayed. That delay was one filled with uncertainty for the restaurant.
“It was our final health inspection, last inspection before opening,” says Oberman.
Once that was delayed, Oberman didn’t know when he would be able to have the inspection done but received a phone call on Monday saying it would take place the next day.
Rowley Inn’s regular hours are from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday and 10 p.m. on Sunday.
