Break out of your cubicle and head to Foyer Cafe in Ohio City.
The 2,000-square-foot coffee shop inside the renovated Seymour Building, which once housed Kiefer’s Restaurant, sits adjacent to a 10,000-square-foot coworking space for 120 with 22 private offices and a common area (monthly memberships start at $175).
But if you just need a breather from the office, it’s easy to nab a spot at the sleek, modern bar and order one of the shop’s 15 coffees and teas such as the 9-Spice Masala Chai ($4.50).
“We just want to be warm and welcoming,” says cafe manager Kyle Webb. “We want anyone to feel comfortable coming in. We like to keep our design very simple and elegant and that transfers over to the drinks we make as well — simple, well-done and beautifully executed.” 2529 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, 216-273-4470, foyerohiocity.co
