Moreland, Jennifer

Jennifer Moreland has been a registered nurse for 12 years. She earned her ADN from Tri-C, BSN from CSU and MSN from CSU. She worked in the critical care unit at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center and at Portage UH. She is currently a SANE lead for the University Hospital’s SANE unit. She provides consults and exams in the emergency department for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and victims of crime. She trains new SANEs for the community emergency departments and works with community partners to ensure patients are provided ample resources. Her goal is for patients to be well educated about their prognosis, their healthcare options and the resources available to them.
