Sonda, Charlena

Charlena Sonda, BSN, RN, is an assistant nurse manager in a medical-surgical unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital. She leads by example and pitches in to help clinical nurses as needed. Sonda is calm in stressful situations and ensures that standards are met. As Shared Governance representative for her unit, she is learning more about hospital operations and promotes innovation on the unit. Sonda’s enthusiasm reflects her love of nursing and desire for others to succeed.
