Sciborowski, Irene

Irene Sciborowski, RN, is a charge nurse on a behavioral health unit at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital. She is passionate about the patients she serves, who are some of the most challenging in health care. Sciborowski is a member of the unit’s Patient Advocacy Committee and a patient falls champion, educating caregivers about the importance of identifying high fall risk patients and using appropriate interventions to prevent falls. She also coaches new nurses and precepts nursing students, who have called Sciborowski “inspiring” and the “kind of nurse I dream of being.”
