A host of local microbreweries have put their heads and hops together to craft a limited edition 12-pack in honor of Cleveland Beer Week Oct. 15 to 23.
"It's the largest collaborative mixed pack in the country that we know of," says Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. owner John Najeway.
A dozen local breweries paired up in April and began collaborating on a style of beer they hadn't made before.
The six-variety sampler ($19.99) went on sale at the start of October. Grab a 12-pack at Cuyahoga County Heinen's, Giant Eagle and some Acme locations. Hurry, though, only 2,500 to 3,000 cases will hit stores.
You can also sample the tastes on tap at each participating brewery. Proceeds will benefit the Ohio Craft Brewers Association and the Cleveland Scholarship Fund.
