It's the final countdown. With Easter on April 5, millions of people — including a few Cleveland Magazine editors — can finally eat chocolate again. Lilly Handmade Chocolates co-owner Amanda Montague fills us in on three go-to treats.
German Chocolate Egg | Dark chocolate with toasted coconut, buttered pecans and milk chocolate salted caramel ($8). "Dark chocolate tones down the sweetness," she says.
Funfetti Bunny | The festive and flavorful white chocolate bunnies ($5) are filled with multicolored sprinkles. "I like bright colors. It's very spring," she says.
Truffles | These treats ($13 for six) filled with ganache, lime or passion fruit juice are about variety. "Who wouldn't love to find one of these babies in their Easter basket?" she says.
