Don’t let this diminutive sandwich shop’s lack of square footage deceive you. Sharing a kitchen with Ohio City’s Old Angle Tavern, Bogtrotters churns out eight mammoth sammies made using house-roasted and sliced turkey, roast beef and pork loin, fresh veggies from Boutros Bros. Produce at the nearby West Side Market and rolls from On the Rise Artisan Breads. Most of the $9 sandwiches can easily feed two, but when the appetite struggle is real, the Bogtrotter ($12) is deliciously up to the task. Following an everything-and-the-kitchen-sink ethos, the savory behemoth is layered with roast beef, turkey, Italian sausage, provolone, house-made cheese sauce, grilled onions and marinara sauce. And in the interest of getting your money’s worth, order it drenched with porcini mushroom au jus and topped with crumbled kettle-cooked chips, since both are on the house. Also Try: You’ll find oven-roasted turkey, grilled onion, Swiss cheese and turkey au jus on the Cleveland ($9) version. The Chicago ($9) boasts roast beef, roasted red and green peppers, provolone and beef au jus. 1848 W. 25th St., Cleveland, 216-861-5515
