It’s a timeless quandary: You both want to go out, but can’t decide where. Luckily, a night at Third Fridays is practically 10 dates in one. On the third Friday (naturally) of every month, Gordon Square Arts District’s 78th Street Studios, a reclaimed warehouse complex, hosts a creative cavalcade of local artisans, musicians, pop-up stores and food trucks for a string-light-illuminated evening. The sprawling fine arts center is actually five connected buildings, so take your time exploring the labyrinth, passing acoustic performers in the hallways to check out the assorted wares. “Third Fridays is a creative arts maze designed for date nights and getting lost in fun,” says owner Dan Bush. Buy a keepsake at the permanent Susie Frazier Showroom, an art gallery that upcycles organic and industrial throwaways into wall art and jewelry. Now just decide who’ll spring for dinner. 1300 W. 78th St., Cleveland, 440-503-5506, 78thstreetstudios.com
After: Weigh your options at Banter. The poutine palace offers up such elevated takes as the chicken paprikash poutine. 7320 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, 216-801-0305, bantercleveland.com
