1.) Feast your eyes on Provenance. You’ll find plates painted like canvases inside the 84-seat restaurant tucked inside the museum. Chef Douglas Katz creates global cuisine — on view now: steak au poivre — in addition to special prix-fixe menus inspired by current exhibits.
2.) Take a love-filled walk through the galleries. There’s little love notes to find throughout the museum. Start on the first floor with a sculpture depicting the head of Eros (aka Cupid). You’ll also find two more striking depictions of the winged Messenger of Love, including one with him slipping out of bed with his face lit playfully.
