The smallest gifts can lead to the biggest smiles, and one look at Jenni Pops’ seasonal cake pops is bound to bring out the inner child in anyone this holiday season. When Jennifer DaDante’s father grew ill in 2015, she started making cake pops out of her North Ridgeville home to tap into her creativity and be closer to family.
“I grew up baking with him,” she says. “He was the best chef I ever knew and baking brought back so many memories.” Since then, her customized cake pop business has boomed, especially during the holiday season when last-minute gift giving is on everyone’s mind. The snow globe pops are often the most popular choices, coming in an array of flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, peppermint mocha, orange clove and eggnog.
Customers can order flavors by the dozen ($24-$42) or pick up a holiday variety pack of 10 ($35), and each one comes decorated with sugar emblems such as Christmas trees, snowmen and reindeer. “It’s so simple but so striking at the same time,” says DaDante. 216-376-6339, jennipops.com
