BRUNCH
We're huge fans of brunch. And when a spot serves it on Saturday and Sunday, it is a foodie's dream come true. Since September, the Tremont staple's impressive brunch menu lets you dig into fun dishes such as the Morning Glory Mac and Cheese ($11.95) dotted with breakfast sausage, peppers, jalapenos and topped with a fried egg. Don't pass on the filling Polish Breakfast ($12.95) with three hefty potato pierogies, herbed scrambled eggs, kielbasa and bacon. When we're in the mood for a midmorning food fiesta, we turn to the Wake-up Call Empanadas ($8.95). Stuffed with andouille sausage, peppers, onions, cheddar and egg, it's all business on the inside, but a jalapeno-smoked cheddar sauce and tequila-lime salsa get the party started.
LATE NIGHT
The choices we make when we've had a few drinks are usually pretty questionable. But the one thing we can depend on is choosing a satisfying snack from Prosperity's late night menu. Since starting in July, the selections have run the gamut from a somewhat healthy Grilled Portabella Sandwich ($10.95) served on ciabatta with bacon, roasted red peppers and Swiss cheese to those downright guilty pleasures such as the Full-On CLE Kielbaski ($8.95). Like a hot dog on steroids, this grilled kielbasa is loaded with bacon sauerkraut, Stadium Mustard hollandaise, fried onions and served on an Orlando Baking Co. baguette. While you know it's bad for you, go ahead and take another bite. Chances are you won't remember it tomorrow morning.
