I am so excited and thrilled that the Metro-parks has taken over Cleveland's lakefront parks ("Green Light," June 2014). Although I do not live in Cleveland anymore, I remember fondly the parks and all the things that they offered. The lakefront is Cleveland.

Typical East Side mentality, thinking it's more cultured ("Bridge Builders," June 2014). The West Side is home to one of the largest Hungarian populations outside of Budapest, a significant Middle Eastern population (considered white by census), a large Puerto Rican population spanning from west Cleveland to Lorain and Elyria, Serbians, Romanians, Irish, etc. It's that "old money" mentality that the East Siders have that make them believe the West Side is homogeneous.
