The library is the last place you’d expect an all-out rager. But we’re willing to bet the Cleveland Public Library Street Festival on July 27 will be one of the best parties of the summer. “It’s a community festival unlike anything you’ve ever seen,” says Aaron Mason, CPL’s director of outreach and programming. Three blocks of Superior Avenue will be closed and packed with family-friendly fun, including puppet processions, live music on two stages, a hip-hop ballet by Chicago dance troupe Hiplet and more. Catch a free ride to and from the fest on a Lolly the Trolley shuttle from surrounding neighborhood branches. “It’s really our way of saying thank you to the city and to honor them for giving us the opportunity to serve them for 150 years,” says Mason. 325 Superior Ave., Cleveland, 216-623-2800, cpl.org
