Reese Holcomb, 22, Cleveland Gladiators dancer
Hidden talent: I would say — aside from rocking out in the car with the music turned up — that I know how to ride a motorcycle. I have my motorcycle license.
Biggest fear: The apocalypse.
My bad habit: Definitely dancing in the car while I am driving. And singing in the car while I am driving. It's funny, because I get really odd looks!
My guilty pleasure: Pinkberry ice cream.
You'd never guess: I was a nerd growing up in school — in high school and elementary school and all throughout. I wore really big owl glasses. And I am a big fan of any sci-fi movie: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings.
I can't live without: Dancing. It's my passion — it's what I love to do and what makes me happy, whether I'm doing it for my own enjoyment or for a stadium full of people.
My hero: My biggest inspiration is my coach — a hero and mentor — who has been on the Scream Team for about nine seasons now and she also is the assistant coordinator for the Cavalier Girls. She works so hard and has a lot of natural talent.
On my bucket list: To live in Japan. To go skydiving. One thing that was on my bucket list was to get my motorcycle license, but I already did that.
Biggest accomplishment: Getting back into dancing. After I graduated from high school, I tried out for the Scream Team and I originally got rejected. Last year, I tried out for the Gladiators and I was doubtful that I would make the team because I had not been dancing for a while. But I got called back and won a position on the team, and that meant a lot to me. Performing gives me a lot of inner happiness and peace.
When I'm not working: Working out or spending time with friends.
Find me here on a Saturday night: I'm probably downtown at the Barley House.
If I had one wish: To be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: When I was younger, I visited Japan because I'm from Japan, so that was the best thing ever for me. I do want to do it again, but I can't see myself doing it anytime soon. I had a great time and I remember how beautiful it was to see my homeland and to be around the culture. It just really opens your eyes to how different the world is, and how big it is.
On death row, my last meal would be: Filet, bread, stuffing, french fries — a lot of carbs!
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: I would give it to my family, and I would buy a house with a pool.
My No. 1 dating rule: When someone is dating me, I want them to open the door for me. Those simple courtesies are the things I notice.
Deal-breakers: A guy who is egotistical, too self-absorbed and isn't really humble enough to care about what I'm doing. And lying. It's hard to have a relationship built on trust if you know the person you are with is not trustworthy.
The perfect date: A picnic on the beach while the sun is setting.
I'm a sucker for: A nice personality. That comes first to me. Someone who is sweet, who is compassionate, who is caring and loves kids — that really has a special place in my heart.
Most romantic thing you've ever done: A surprise dinner with chocolate and strawberries. It was a picnic. I invited my date out and he had no clue this was happening. I told him we were going to the park and I surprised him there.
What I look for in a significant other: Someone who is loyal. It's hard to find people who are loyal. And someone who is funny because I am always laughing. It doesn't take a lot for me to laugh, but I love to laugh and I think that helps you through the day. Also someone who is very driven, someone who always wants to do something bigger and better. That motivates me.
Celebrity dream date: I would have said Paul Walker.
Celebrity look-alike: Jurnee Smollett-Bell from the movie Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
Dogs or cats: Dogs. Big dogs.
Beach or mountains: Beach.
Signature dish: Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
How I stay healthy: I avoid dairy and carbs after workouts, and I try to avoid eating after 8 p.m.
Favorite ... love story: The story in Pride and Prejudice. ... book: Pride and Prejudice. ... TV show: So You Think You Can Dance. ... movie: The Star Wars series. ... blog: I'm not so big on blogs, but I go online for Instagram. ... music: I listen to all music. I like all music, but I'd say of all the genres, I enjoy R&B and soulful music because that is what I grew up listening to. ... restaurant: Edwins [Leadership & Restaurant Institute] in Shaker Square. ... app: Instagram. I'm a very visual person.
What I'm reading: Snake Walkers.
iPod embarrassment: My collection of selfies.
I'm so over: The viral video of the kid dancing and he is going, "Go Kill ...Em." Please stop saying that.
Dream job: Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Dream vacation: Hawaii.
Best date I've been on: I would say the best date I've gone on was out to dinner at Brasa Grill. I had a great time, and they have amazing cuisine and there was great conversation.
Worst date I've been on: The worst date was a bar out in Mayfield. In the middle of the date, he had to leave because of a family emergency.
