Tyler Adams, 22, The Moxies bass player
Hidden talent: Mechanic work, like working on cars and motorcycles.
Biggest fear: I'm actually quite afraid of heights — like super high, like if I was on top of a building near the edge, I kind of get vertigo a little bit.
My bad habit: Probably the worst habit I have is smoking.
My guilty pleasure: Probably watching sappy movies.
You'd never guess: Something people don't get about me is my relationship with my friends. They're basically like family. They're actually the two friends in the band. I live with one of them and I'm always with him.
I can't live without: Music or instruments. I've always been doing something musical, like when I was in high school doing choir or musicals or learning to play bass or piano. I just couldn't imagine it not being there.
My hero: That is Mr. Jack White, the guy from the White Stripes. His theories behind music — keeping it simple and pure, good, suited rock ...n' roll music. He's always said that he never stops working and he never stops pushing himself.
On my bucket list: To travel around Europe on a motorcycle.
Biggest accomplishment: Being in the band and growing as we are right now in Cleveland.
When I'm not working: Playing music, listening to music or reading about music.
Find me here on a Saturday night: Usually at a venue or a bar like the Beachland [Ballroom & Tavern], the Agora, the Grog Shop or smaller bars like the Foundry that have little stages.
If I had one wish: That our band right now could get signed by a major label.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: Playing at the Agora Ballroom in front of a sold-out show, like 700 people. It was quite the feeling.
On death row, my last meal would be: Steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and lots of gravy.
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: Cars. I love fast cars. And equipment and a trip for me and all my friends.
My No. 1 dating rule: I treat whenever we go out. I'm always going to take care of her.
Deal breakers: Bad taste in music. And a foul mouth, actually. If they're vulgar or swear a lot, I don't like it.
The perfect date: Going out to a nice dinner and a few drinks, preferably sushi. I love sushi. Or going to a really good live concert that we both can enjoy.
I'm a sucker for: Long, dark hair and red lipstick and a black dress.
Most romantic thing you've ever done: This is coming from a girl I was dating at that point, but she says the most romantic thing I did was I took off work when she was really sick and surprised her by coming over with a whole bunch of soups and teas. ... Anything she needed, I just took care of.
What I look for in a significant other: I really like humor and I like them to be knowledgeable in the same interests, like music-wise. Probably a musician herself of some sort. I'm very sarcastic sometimes so I want her to be able to keep up with that.
Celebrity dream date: Alison Mosshart from the Dead Weather and the Kills.
Celebrity look-alike: I'm not exactly proud of this, but I've been told that I actually look like Edward Cullen because I kind of have, like vampire teeth.
Dogs or cats: I like both, but I own a cat. I prefer cats, especially because I'm not home a lot so they can take care of themselves.
Beach or mountains: The Mountains. I love Colorado, right at the bottom of Pikes Peak.
Signature dish: I eat a lot of breakfast food and I can make a pretty decent omelet with lots of different things. I like to use two eggs, then I put a lot of spinach in it, sliced up tomatoes and I even put garbanzo beans in it.
How I stay healthy: I have some weights that I lift around my house.
Favorite ... love story: Romeo and Juliet. It's a classic. ... book: I just finished the biography Johnny Cash: The Life. ... TV show: American Horror Story. I really like horror movies and I like how they put it into a TV show. ... movie: I really like Quentin Tarantino films, so either Pulp Fiction or Django Unchained. ... blog: I'm actually not on blogs that often. ... music: I can go on for a while, but my specific genres are all the makings of rock ...n' roll, like blues, rockabilly, garage, punk. I obviously love Jack White, Elvis, Johnny Cash, the Beatles. I really like ...50s music, which is kind of what our band does. ... restaurant: I really like hibachis. ... app: There's this app called Metrolyrics. While I'm playing a song on my phone I can click on the app and it'll show me the lyrics and the chords for the song.
What I'm reading: I'm not reading it yet, but I'm looking into getting Tom Waits' biography.
iPod embarrassment: It would probably be Lana Del Ray's album. I like her but some people make fun of me for it.
I'm so over: Immaturity, like the immature lifestyle that I was living for a while. I was kind of just going around and not really doing anything really solid, and then I picked up the band and realized what I was supposed to be doing.
Dream job: I'm currently working it — basically creating music, writing creative music and being an artist.
Dream vacation: I really want to go to Ireland. I just think a lot of beauty comes from over there.
Best date I've been on: She had an apartment in Kent, and we went there and got away from everything and just had a weekend to ourselves.
Worst date I've been on: I got dragged to a show, this band named Cartel, and they're a real boy band and I absolutely dreaded it the entire time.
