Summer is short, so there's no need to coop yourself up in order to catch a flick. Check out these three spots that offer movies by moonlight.
Movies in the Park
Crocker Park is trying to change the way people think about watching movies. "I see it as the new kind of drive-in but in a picnic-style setting," says Lindsay Rubin, director of marketing. Families can meet every Thursday night on the west lawn to lounge and watch movies. Start off with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on July 7.

Dive-In Movies
For the past seven years, Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation's Ledge Pool has screened movies guests can watch in the pool (you can also reserve an inner tube for $5). "[You get the] entire Cleveland Metroparks experience being there," says Christy Szoke, interim aquatic division manager. Catch The Wizard of Oz on July 15.

Asphalt Cinema
Kamm's Corners' Asphalt Cinema started as a movie in a parking lot nine years ago but has since grown into a party at Impett Park. There's even a bubble-gum-blowing contest. "People know it's coming up, so they practice," says Steve Lorenz, executive director of Kamm's Corners Development Corp. Watch How to Train Your Dragon on July 15.
