Conceived four years ago as a way to show off this East Side neighborhood, Larchmere's Porchfest features more than 30 musical acts on porches and patios at private homes and restaurants. Inspired by a similar event in Ithaca, N.Y., the event, which features singer-songwriters and large bands alike, is expected to draw more than 1,000 people. WATERLOO ARTS FEST

The North Collinwood neighborhood's annual arts and entertainment street fair celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Live music on multiple stages, public art, street entertainers, kids' crafts and food trucks will take over Waterloo Road for the day, while the Beachland Ballroom opens its doors for a Rock n' Roll Flea Market. TASTE OF TREMONT
JULY 15 // NOON-8 P.M.
One of the city's dining destinations, Tremont takes the food to the streets during this midsummer fair, where you can buy tastes of dishes from Lolita, Dante, Fahrenheit and many more of the neighborhood's restaurants. A beer tent sits at one end of the street and live entertainment is plentiful at this annual event, which is expected to draw more than 15,000 people.
