JANE'S ADDICTION
Aug. 6 // Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
Jane's Addiction's original sound and blistering live show influenced scores of '90s alternative bands. They're touring this summer in support of The Great Escape Artist with TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek on bass and Mute Math opening. 7:30 p.m., livenation.com
TRAIN
Aug. 16 // Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
Rising out of San Francisco, Train scored in 1999 with "Sweet Virginia" and in 2001 with "Drops of Jupiter" before "Hey, Soul Sister" blasted the trio back onto the charts eight years later. With a live show that matches the trio's polished pop tunes, it's a great summer choice, especially with openers Mat Kearney and Andy Grammer. 7 p.m., livenation.com
