After 11 years of bleeding, UH is once again fit, vibrant and growing under Zenty’s leadership. A 50-year research partnership with Case Western Reserve University (and the NIH money that goes with it), a building campaign that completed a Twinsburg outpatient and urgent-care facility and broke ground on a hospital in Beachwood last year, and plans for more than $1 billion in new facilities are like huge shots of HGH right into our medical community. And if there were any doubts about how important that industry is to our community, UH and the Cleveland Clinic recently partnered to sponsor the RTA’s Euclid Corridor bus-rapid transit project, dubbing it the HealthLine.
