Things Remembered
There's 51-year-old Cleveland Municipal Stadium dirt still caked on these cleats worn by Jim Brown. The black-and-brown shoes seem meager compared to modern-day cleats, but this pair logged 114 yards on 27 carries in the Cleveland Browns 27-0 title game romp of the Baltimore Colts Dec. 27, 1964. The legendary running back didn't reach the end zone that day, but a long run in the third quarter set up the Browns first touchdown of the game.
