The second we heard about an everything doughnut ($3), we had to try it. With a whipped cream cheese filling, the typically sweet treat resembles its circular cousin — an everything bagel — with the same addictive seasonings sprinkled on a cream cheese glaze with a sliver of chive. Sweet and salty, it’s a little savory for us — but still worth indulging in at least once. We’ll return for owner Barbara Fazio and pastry chef Erica Coffee’s other creations, such as peanut butter or cannoli long johns ($3) and light-as-air glazed doughnuts ($2.50). If our sweet tooth ever subsides, we’ll be more than happy to give the everything doughnut another bite. 20253 Lake Road, Rocky River, 440-799-4083, citygirldonuts.com
