Mahall’s 20 Lanes’ Artist Talks series turns the concert venue into an intimate affair using Zoom and other platforms to shift gears and host speakers, such as musicians Osi Okoro and Cathalyn, who talk about their experiences and struggles. “[We wanted to] engage our patrons with stuff that might be more challenging,” says Andy Schumann, Mahall’s talent buyer. “Now’s a really good time to do that because everyone’s at home and wants to flex their intellectual muscles.”
