Hidden talent: I like being able to connect people to something they need, like if it's a person or a venue.
Biggest fear: Not having an impact on my community. A lot of my work has been in communities, networking at a neighborhood level or working with small organizations or businesses. I want to be able to give something all the time.
My bad habit: Taking on too many things or trying to do too many things.
My guilty pleasure: Probably weird pop music, like Drake or Katy Perry.
You'd never guess: I was in a boxing club, a ladies boxing club. I only actually went to two meetings because it was really hard, but it was really badass. I felt really cool about that.
I can't live without: My family. Because I can't. They're everything to me.
My hero: I like Mindy Kaling, because she's a good pop-culture reference. She is really funny and witty. She has kind of broken through and made a good name for a lot of female comedians and writers.
On my bucket list: I want to go to Italy and see my family. I want to get another tattoo. I want to drive across the country and see everything across the old U.S. of A. I want to run for public office, even if it's a small one.
Biggest accomplishment: Being selected to be one of 17 fellows that worked with the White House Strong Cities Strong Communities initiative. It was really great to meet people from around the country and be able to work to help — I worked here in Cleveland — these economically challenged cities do better.
When I'm not working: I love to see live music, and we're very lucky to have all of the venues that we have here in town.
Find me here on a Saturday night: You might find me in my apartment, listening to records on a Saturday night because I like to go out on a Monday or Tuesday night when no one else is there and you can have a more intimate experience with whoever you're with.
If I had one wish: I'd want to use it to help people have more opportunities or spread things out more equally so more people have a chance to be happy.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: I got to dance onstage one time with the Flaming Lips, and I got to do that while wearing an alien costume. That was pretty rad.
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: I would fund my parents on a big vacation for a year because I know I was challenging when I was growing up. It would be kind of nice for them to just relax for a year. And then I would probably just buy a bunch of records and shoes.
My No. 1 dating rule: I always like to just be honest, because everyone's time is really valuable.
Deal-breakers: Not being respectful of me or just not being respectful of other people.
The perfect date: It would involve pizza, ice cream and live music probably, and just kind of hanging out.
I'm a sucker for: I love glasses. I don't know if it's the whole concept of the imperfect vision or just the simple fact that I love nerdy looking glasses on guys for some reason.
Most romantic thing I've ever done: I organized my ex-boyfriend's entire record collection and that took a lot of work. I like to do little things that I know will be useful for the person I care about.
What I look for in a significant other: Somebody who has ambition, who works hard, like I do, who is flexible and understanding and likes music. I'm a goofball and I can't be with anybody who's boring or doesn't get my jokes.
I always, sometimes or never make the first move: Sometimes, leaning toward always, but there's part of me that would like for them to make the first move at some point. I'm kind of tall and wear crazy clothes and I'm loud, so I would maybe be afraid to approach me, but I'm actually very nice and I don't bite.
Would you like to be famous?: I might want to be famous for something cool, like writing a book or something, but I don't think I'd want to be, like, Kim Kardashian famous, because that's just ridiculous.
Do you rehearse what you're going to say before making a phone call?: I will send a text that says, "Do you want to talk on the phone?" I sent one the other day that said, "Do you want to talk on the phone like teenagers in the '90s?" That's important to me because it's fun. I want to hear your voice.
Last I sang to myself: This morning, in the car. It's a daily thing, to sing. Last time I sang to someone else: I used to really like karaoke. I used to host karaoke and all that, but that's been a while.
If I could gain one quality or ability, it would be: To code and make websites. I've been trying to teach myself, and I've kind of hit a plateau.
I wish I had someone with whom I could share... : Records and books.
Celebrity dream date: I love Jeff Goldblum, but he just got married. I love Jason Schwartzman as Max Fischer in Rushmore, even though he's technically a high-school guy. He's like my dream.
Celebrity look-alike: Somebody told me once when I had really short hair, I looked like Liza Minnelli, and I think they thought that was an insult. I'm like, "Dude, that's a compliment! She's badass."
Dogs or cats: Both, with a preference for dogs.
Beach or mountains: My family goes to the beach a lot, so I like warmth.
Signature dish: Pizza. I'm not much of a cook.
How I stay healthy: I like to get outside and walk. I'll take the occasional class at Harness Cycle, where I get my butt kicked by my friends who are instructors there. I belong to the Lakewood Y, and I love to swim.
My favorite ... book: I like The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson. Even though I have so many favorite books. ...TV show: The Mindy Project. And I used to love 30 Rock. ... movie: I love High Fidelity. I love Drop Dead Gorgeous. I love Rushmore, and all Wes Anderson movies—even Bottle Rocket. I like just how weird and quirky and strange and imaginative his sets and characters are. ... music: I love old-school punk and weird stuff like Rufus and Chaka Khan. ... restaurant: Momocho. I've worked there, I've eaten there, I know people there. ... app: I love Instagram.
What I'm reading: Hyperbole and a Half. It's a really funny, little graphic book that I've read and keep by my bed.
IPod embarrassment: No, I like my iPod.
I'm so over: The Kardashians, even though they permeate my life.
Dream job: I want to have my own marketing and events company. And I also want to be a stylist, and I started doing that too.
Dream vacation: I would really like to go to Australia. I have family down there too, and I think I'd like to go where it's nice and warm.
My take on Cleveland's single scene: I kind of want to be second to the Browns or above the Browns on somebody's priority list. ... Priorities are a little different here.
Are you on Tinder?: I was on Tinder as a joke because I would take screenshots of people and send them to my girlfriends.
Best thing about being single: I can do whatever I want, whenever I want.
Worst thing about being single: Sometimes you just want someone to hang out and be silly with.
Best date I've been on: I haven't been on a great date ever. So I'm putting out a challenge. A real date. It can be pizza at a fancy restaurant.
Worst date I've been on: I went on a date with somebody and we somehow got into a political conversation, and he actually left me there. It was really funny, because he actually left me at the Happy Dog. It was a great night up until that point.
Do you hope to settle down in the next five years?: I would like to, but I'm not going to pick the first thing that comes along.
