Come on in. That’s the phrase you want your front door to embody — a feeling of hospitality, community and friendship. With an array of styles and different options for decor, we asked Antonia Marinucci, owner of the Architetta, and Halle Baran, designer and stylist behind Sil & Park Interiors, to give us a door design that is both expressive and welcoming.
“We were aiming for a modern traditional look that should lend well to a lot of different architectural styles,” says Marinucci. “We wanted to lay a neutral foundation with high-quality pieces and layer in textures, patterns and color for personality.”
1. Door
Available in a variety of different woods, this classic-looking door features a straight-line panel design that is durable and long-lasting. Marinucci and Baran opted to paint it Sherwin-Williams’ Inkwell, a black with strong blue undertones.
