The idea for Cream ($9.99) was born at a college party in 2002. Chris Guiher mixed heavy whipping cream and liquor to top off guests' drinks. It was a hit, and Guiher, the owner of Shaker Heights' Kingfish Spirits, has been working to bring his 30 proof whipped cream to market ever since. The South Side, Waterstreet Grill and Ponte Vecchio have already incorporated Cream into their drink menus, the latter featuring it in a salted caramel martini. "It's sweet and salty all at the same time," explains bar manager Jonathan Simcox. "Cream adds a lot of fluffy texture."
