The 2024 Cleveland Marathon is in the books as Will Loevner, of Pittsburgh, won the race for the second consecutive year. He completed the 26.2-mile course throughout Cleveland in two hours, 19 minutes and 44 seconds. Loevner was the first of 1,587 runners to cross the finish line. The first woman to finish the full marathon was Hudson’s Ashton Swinford. She ran the race in two hours, 51 minutes and 16 seconds.
There were 3,652 runners that completed the 13.1-mile half marathon course, with Findlay’s Nick Dehaven leading the way at one hour, nine minutes and 49 seconds. The first woman to finish was Alyssa Thomas, of Cuyahoga Falls, who finished in one hour, 18 minutes and seven seconds.
