Cedar Point’s Tricks and Treats Fall Fest
As the month of October comes to an end, what better way to celebrate the heart of the autumn season than taking part in an all-in-one fall festival at everyone’s favorite rollercoaster park. Along with being able to ride your favorite coasters, Cedar Point will also have tons of on-theme activities for families to enjoy such as pumpkin decorating, costume contests, a corn maze challenge and much more. Frankenstein’s Wake: A Premiere Zoom Adaptation
Cleveland Public Theater is hitting the virtual stage for a performance of Frankenstein’s Wake, an adaptation of the famous story by Mary Shelley. Originally performed off-Broadway in Cleveland back in 1997, the play is being revived through a digital format where performers will seek to analyze a deeper meaning on the story’s underlying themes such as longing, conflict with one’s maker and the meaning of being human. Created by Holly Holsinger and Raymond Bobgan this show is a perfect way to support a local performance and get in the Halloween spirit. Haunted Cleveland: Torso Murders Tour
True crime fans won’t want to miss this. Catch the last weekend of this enticingly chilling tour through Cleveland where a retired agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation will take each group through different locations of the famously grizzly murders that happened back in the 1930s. The tour includes seven locations that retrace the steps of the famous Cleveland Torso Murderer including the Cleveland Police Station, the Hope Memorial Bridge, The Renaissance Hotel and more. With each spot visitors will learn about historical facts, crime theories and even some paranormal legends related to the spots. Halloween Bash at Music Box
No Halloween season is complete without a chance to dance the night away in a cooky costume. Music Box has invited local reggae band, Carlos Jones & The Plus Band to perform songs from some of their albums such as “Positive Vibrations” and “Roots With Culture.” Although all in-person tickets are sold out, those interested can still enjoy the concert through a livestream that will go live through Facebook and YouTube. Pumpkins and Piranhas at the Cleveland Aquarium
If you’re looking for something more nontraditional this Halloween, dive into the world of the Cleveland Aquarium through a special series of activities to keep your little ones entertained. The aquarium will have timed slots available to adhere to social distancing so visitors can come dressed up and enjoy animal-fact trivia, “I Spy” activities, marvel at underwater pumpkins and will even go home with some Halloween goodie bags that include treats, coloring books, stickers and more.
