On Dec. 13, Boston Mills and Alpine Valley will kick off its ski operations for the 2024 through 2025 winter season.
Alpine Valley will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a first chair banner break, music, swag giveaways and free doughnuts. Skiers and riders will get to enjoy three trails of freshly groomed terrain.
Boston Mills will also celebrate the local resort's opening with a first chair banner break, music merch giveaways and doughnuts.
Snowmaking operations will continue to operate at both resorts.
Brandywine Ski Resort is set to open later this month. More details will be announced soon.
With winter just around the corner, Kelsey Melgard, the communications manager of Vail Resorts, says their snowmaking team is "geared up to produce snow at every opportunity for this season's terrain package."
The resorts will open at 3 p.m. on Friday Dec. 13. To use the mobile pass for the winter season, download the new My Epic app. Guests can buy their pass online, activate and store it in the My Epic app. The app will also feature stats tracking, interactive trail maps, Find My Friends feature.
