Soak up downtown while participating in a yoga class Aug. 11 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s plaza. Tammy Lyons, founder of Inner Bliss Yoga Studios, leads the evening class, which can be best described as high energy and for everyone. Cleveland Black-owned small businesses receive Verizon grants
Verizon’s #PayItForwardLIVE initiative has helped 777 small businesses nationwide meet payroll, pay rent and cover any additional immediate operational needs. Ebony’s Angels Childcare and Enrichment Center, KC Center for Health and Wellness, Myles Masonry and Man Media were the four Black-owned small businesses who received grants.
Keep the kids entertained with Crocker Park’s virtual series
If your kids are looking for some fun activities, visit Crocker Park’s Facebook page every Tuesday at 11 a.m. for its Crocker Kids series. The annual summer event is going virtual this year with educational and fun crafts and classes from the area’s stores. Any supplies that may be needed will be listed in advance. “Come Back” Kits help small businesses in Lorain County
As small businesses continue to be affected by COVID-19, Lorain County Main Street has created “Come Back Kits” as stores, restaurants and business reopen to ensure their health and safety. Pinstripes wants you to recognize a hometown hero
During this pandemic, there have been plenty of people who have helped those in need. Whether it is an essential worker or someone helping high risk friends and families, they have become hometown heroes. Pinstripes Hometown Heroes Contest is asking for nominations of a hero through a brief description of how they affected their community.
