Brink city is on the verge of destruction, and it's up to Ridall, a shape-shifting alien environmental guru to save the day. That's the struggle at the heart of Brink City: Green in the Ghetto, which finds Ridall joining forces with allies such as Worm Man to fight soil-poisoning toxins and junk food-creating villains to create a healthier city. The 12-issue comic series is published by Rid-All Green Partnership, which runs an urban farm in the Kinsman neighborhood. "I figured learning sustainability would be easiest in cartoon form," says Rid-All co-founder Damien Forshe. "The youth are where it's going to start on being the stewards of the earth." Brink City is available at the new Rid-All store at the 5th Street Arcades downtown and Cleveland Comics in Lyndhurst.
