The Christmas Corner Bar is so jolly it could warm even the iciest of hearts (here’s looking at you, Grinch). When Around the Corner owner Ryan Krivosh transformed one of his establishment’s four bars into a pop-up winter wonderland last year, it quickly caught on as a holiday hot spot. For a sequel, Krivosh plans to go full Clark Griswold with more than 50,000 twinkling lights, mistletoe, ornaments and a Santa selfie mirror. “We’re going to make it look like Chevy Chase’s [National Lampoon’s] Christmas Vacation,” he says. Stop in for nightly holiday-themed trivia, karaoke and drink specials such as the Nice shot ($6) with Svedka cherry vodka, peppermint schnapps, grenadine and a crushed candy cane rim or the Dirty Grinch ($12) with Smirnoff vanilla vodka, creme de menthe, creme de cacao and a cream and chocolate drizzle. But this holiday gift is only around until Dec. 31. “You can come to this Christmas bar for one month, and then it’s over,” says Krivosh. 18616 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, 216-521-4413, atccafe.com
