I love the creativity Fourth Coast Design Co. has put into its pieces ("Best of Cleveland: Beer Flight Boards," October 2015). The pieces are warm and natural, while being artistic and useful. My favorite is the cheese board that is used at our home daily.

Carl is definitely one of a kind, as everyone is special ("A Moment in Kind," October 2015). We all have a life journey that teaches us many lessons; sometimes we need each other to lift our spirits and to see past the cage we build ourselves. Thank you for your article. More people need to connect to each other on a human level.

It was refreshing to see local educators discuss ways to improve our schools' academic, spiritual and personal developmental programs ("Course Correct," October 2015). Clearly liberal arts college prep curricula have evolved and improved, but unfortunately not as quickly as business and technical educational demands have. In Cleveland, we need desperately to pay attention to career education.
