Come on. Let's indict these clowns already ("Greetings from Linndale," August 2011). Start deposing these officers under oath. I guarantee you that you will get the truth. Cleaning up the junkyard will cost too much because of EPA regulations. I know that the village of Linndale knows its boundaries. I used to work there. I was told what the boundaries were. And I never responded to a call on Brookfield Avenue or Guardian Boulevard — because it's Cleveland.

A Welcome Addition
One of the by-products of a deteriorating daily metropolitan newspaper is the loss of a writer like Kim Crow ("The Mirror Image," August 2011). It was wonderful to read her observations on life and fashion and the optimism provided by both.

Drawing Conclusions
The art by Peter Ellis of Mayor Jackson is deplorable ("The Fading City," July 2011). Mayor Jackson has balanced the city budget in this tough economy. Shame on you, Mr. Gleydura, to approve this despicable art.
