A glimpse into our day at the championship parade.
What a day. While covering the Cleveland Cavaliers June 22 championship parade on Twitter and Instagram, we met former Cleveland Browns running back Earnest Byner. Some of us got a high-five from Kyrie Irving. And most of us got sunburnt. But minutes before the parade kicked off, Cleveland Magazine editors Steve Gleydura, Kim Schneider and Jason Brill, along with associate art director Charlee Ottersberg, photo intern Emily Nichols and Ohio Magazine editor Jim Vickers — and a small portion of the estimated 1.3 million people who attended the parade — posed for an usie (a group selfie) to commemorate the day.
