After helping Cleveland Heights to the State Championship in 1997, J.R. (Ernest) Bremmer chose to continue his education at St. Bonnaventure in St. Bonaventure, N.Y., and proceeded to light up the Atlantic-10 conference. He leaves the school as one of its all-time scoring leaders, and one of its all-time most decorated players, which is saying something, considering that NBA Hall of famer Bob Lanier also played for the Bonnies. He has a Tim Hardaway jumper ... you know, "ugly, but deadly."
As a senior, he led the nation in scoring for much of the year, while leading his team in points scored, scoring average, three-pointers attempted, and three pointers made. Not bad for a slightly built guy who checks in at just over 6-feet tall. In the '02 season he became just the fourth player in Bonnies history to score 700 points in a season. He ended his career as the seventh all-time leading scorer in St. Bonaventure's long and illustrious history. While his offensive game should transfer well, scouts wonder if he will be able to get a shot off against bigger and stronger players on the NBA level.
NBA Prospects: He could be an NBA player in time, but probably not a draft choice this year.

The man whose nickname is "Bear" has an outside chance of being drafted and playing in the league if he gets invited to some NBA pre-draft camps and plays as well as he can. He leaves CSU among the all-time leaders in several categories for the Vikings: 10th in career scoring with 1,161 points; fifth in three-point field goals made and attempted (118-325); sixth in free throws made (283); seventh in free throw percentage (.775); eighth in field goals attempted (963); ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.363).
He is a fine athlete, with good "hops," ball-handling, shooting and defensive skills. He can also shoot the three, leading CSU in that category the last two seasons. His stock was higher at the end of his junior season.
An eastern conference scout says: "He has all of the tools, I wonder what happened to him as a senior."He came into the season as a preseason first-team all-Horizon league performer, but had a horrible season. The only way he will be in the league is if someone falls in love with his athletic potential, which is great.
By the way, some draft experts project him as high as the 19th best shooting guard available in the draft. Theo has NBA Developmental League written all over him.
NBA Prospects: Dixon will have to work really hard to get to the league, but it isn't impossible because of his overall skills.
NBA comparison: Michael Redd, Milwaukee Bucks.
