A fusion of Latin dance, theatricality, classical ballet and modern dance techniques, Ballet Hispanico brings communities together to celebrate and explore Latino cultures through creative dance. Known for his starring roles in the hit-series Martin, and the films House Party, Bad Boys, Big Momma's House and A Thin Line Between Love & Hate, Martin Lawrence brings his comedic stand-up tour to Cleveland. Behind the Camera: Band of Brothers
Annually, the Greater Cleveland Film Commission holds a benefit inviting a special guests of the film industry to share their experiences. This year, the commission is joined by several actors from the Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning HBO series, Band of Brothers, along with its casting director, Meg Liberman, and writer, Graham Yost. Guests enjoy cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres while sharing the commission’s goal of increasing of the promotion of media production in Northeast Ohio. $150-$40,000. From the Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright, The Flick, Annie Baker’s stage play visits the eerie venture of a couple, Elias and Jenny, and their stay at Mertis Katherine’s bed-and-breakfast which is chock full of toys, figurines and a strange American Girl doll. Full of surprises, some even supernatural, the play explores the question of whether objects have souls.
