Valentine’s Day isn’t the only reason love is in the air this week.
Whether you’re falling short of finding that perfect gift for your honey, or you’re setting out to treat yo’self, Midwest Dessert Fest hits a certain sweet spot in our hearts.
The first annual Cleveland dessert festival brings together 20 different vendors from around Cleveland and Northeast Ohio to The Madison Feb. 16 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
“Cleveland is really diverse when it comes to desserts,” says event organizer and founder Andrea Archibald. “There’s no crossover in the type of desserts either and that’s what’s really cool about the Midwest.”
Ticket holders will be able to come to the event during one-hour time slots to snatch up an assortment of treats such as hand-spun cotton candy from Art of Sucre, edible cookie dough from Dough Rae Me, monstrous brownies from CLE Brownie Co., artfully crafted pastries from Hearth Patisserie and more.
“A lot of them are bringing multiple items,” says Archibald. “It’s going to be pretty encompassing.” For a chance to win free tickets, head to our Instagram. Feb. 16, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., The Madison, 4601 Payne Ave., Cleveland, midwestdessertfests.com
