Browns Perfect Season Parade 2.0
The Browns failed to get a W in 2017, but that doesn’t mean 2018 can’t start with one. Cleveland Twitter celebrity, Chris McNeil, otherwise known as @Reflog_18, organized the parade, which will follow a 0-shaped pattern around First Energy Stadium. Excedrin will sponsor the event in an attempt to soothe the 0-16-induced headaches. Any donation money left over will be given to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, and parade attendees are encouraged to bring cans, which will be collected and donated to the Food Bank, too. #GPODAWUND Free, Jan. 6, 12 p.m., 100 Alfred Lerner Way, Cleveland, brownsparade.com
The best pairing for a sad, bitter Browns season is a biting, hop-forward and bitter beer. Grab a couple pints of local brews, such as Market Garden’s Wait 'Til Next Saison, and drink until you forget about the Browns less-than-perfect season at Heinen’s Downtown Cleveland location. Other Heinen's locations, such as Rocky River, Chagrin Falls and Chardon, will also host the event at various times throughout the day. $15, Jan. 5, 6-8 p.m., 19219 Detroit Road, Rocky River, 440-331-3830, heinens.com
Chardee MacDennis: The Game of Games
Drinking is the game at this It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia-inspired game night. Make your way through each of the three levels — mind, body and spirit — to find out who is the one, true "golden god," or Dennis Reynolds, of your group of friends. Although you won’t get the satisfaction of smashing your opponents’ game pieces in victory, the winner will be awarded $100. Drink specials include The Implication, Wolf Cola and Riot Punch. Chardee MacDennis is not just a game — it’s war. $1, Jan. 5-6, 10 p.m., Yuzu, 13603 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 440-799-8343, yuzulakewood.com
Wish You Were Here Live At House Of Blues
Venture to the dark side of the moon, I mean…the House of Blues to catch a face-melting performance from the internationally recognized, Cleveland-based Pink Floyd tribute band, Wish You Were Here. The nine-piece musical ensemble, which features seven vocalists, performs immaculate recreations of "Dark Side of the Moon," "The Wall," and, of course, "Wish You Were Here," as a laser light show beams through rolling fog and pig inflatables float above the stage. The experience is the closest you can get to David Gilmour and Roger Waters in their prime. $18.50-$29, Jan. 6, 8 p.m., House of Blues, 308 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, 216-523-2583, houseofblues.com
Elvis Birthday Tribute 2018
