"It's a large grocery store right in your backyard. It would take me hours to get through there, buying and trying food." There was a display at a butcher's booth that had a pig's head wearing sunglasses."

"I was trying to think back to what it was like 30-50 years ago. You can just imagine the culture and how busy it was." He recommends checking out Seven Roses Deli, where he met a friend for lunch. "Just sit, listen and ask questions. The people who work there just love talking about the neighborhood," he says. "Also, just to get in the car and drive around. There's a gorgeous church nearby that still does a Polish Mass on Sundays."

"It helps you learn about all the great things that the library has to offer. And it's free."
