As a member of the Challenger Crew Juniors, the sixth-grader at Bay Middle School travels a couple times a month for soccer tournaments as far away as Florida, New Jersey, Maryland and even the Netherlands. His parents have even removed all the glassware from their living room to make way for his in-house practice.
I like playing in stadiums and in front of big crowds. It's awesome to play soccer, but if I were to get older and play professional that would be even better. I like the cheering and the music in the arena when you're warming up. It gets you pumped up until you're ready to play the game. My best day was probably when I was in the Netherlands, and I scored the goal of that day. After the game, we all hooked arms with each other and ran across the field. We were all happy.
My friends want to be friends with everyone and they want to be nice to everyone. That's really important to me. I like that they're nice kids and they're athletic. We play around at their house, play dodgeball in their basements and we play video games, like the game FIFA. We usually have a tournament, and the winner usually gets candy or something like that.
I don't really like shooting games. When I was younger, I had a cap gun where it makes noises when you pull the trigger. I would put a chair and something like a piece of paper attached to it. I would make a target on it and try to shoot at it. I do that sometimes down the street at my friend's house, because he has an airsoft gun. We just shoot at targets.
If I have my backpack and I'm going over to my friend's house with my airsoft gun, I would never have it out in my pocket or anything when I'm riding. I don't even have BBs in it. It would probably not even come out until I get to my friend's house, so if a cop comes by he wouldn't ask me questions or anything about it. I'm a little worried about what would happen if I did have it out.
