My usual hangout: During the week I'd say the gym or a restaurant or bar downtown after work. I like to stay active, so I'm sort of a "catch me if you can" person.

My No. 1 dating rule: Not answering the phone or texting if we're together, especially if it's the first date.
My deal-breaker: Someone who is too shy. I need equal conversation and a person who is receptive to what I'm saying and responding and communicating back. I also don't like guys with unnaturally big muscles.

Best place to meet someone: When I was in college, I thought it'd be college, but that didn't really work out. I don't know if there is a good place. I think it comes down to meeting someone then following up with them, either making a move or at least seeing them again.

My take on Cleveland's single scene: It's what you make of it. It's tough when you're someone like me who works a lot. ... It's tough when people get in habits and hang out with the same social circles.
