Bank internal auditor, owner of Clear Cut Promotions, promotional model and bartender
How she caught our eye: A true social butterfly, Burant is constantly floating from one activity and job to another. This vibrant, smart entrepreneur is worth catching up with ... if you're fast enough.
The perfect date: Definitely something creative, like a comedy show, the art museum or a wine tasting. I don't think I'd want to do a typical dinner date.
Something most people don't know about me: I can rap to every Tupac song. I also used to play the viola for 10 years, I love Italian horror movies, and I have a master's in accounting.
My passion: Learning new things. If I find something I'm interested in, I want to learn everything about it. Also, yoga. I do it religiously.
Biggest turn-on: Confidence, but not over confidence. A good smile is nice, too. I like a guy with a good aura, a good personality with a good vibe.
Biggest turnoff: Lack of intelligence. I don't care how cute you are or what you're wearing; if you can't hold a conversation with me, I won't be attracted to you.
I own too many : Lip glosses. Definitely. I have probably seven lip glosses. There's never one that's just the perfect shade, so I end up having like 10 on or losing about half when I go out.
My favorite ...
... place in Cleveland: Parallax, Market in Rocky River
... book: I'm into art and love Andy Warhol, so the Philosophy of Andy Warhol.
... musician/band: Right now, I like Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, New Order, Joy Division, Bob Dylan. I also really like rap, so Kid Cudi, Drake.
... sports team: The Browns
... TV show : I don't actually have a TV so I don't really have a favorite show!
... vacation destination: Napa Valley. I love wine, especially zinfandel, cabernets and anything spicy. I want to travel to Europe but just haven't made it yet.
... dessert: I love space ice cream. Does that count? I also really like Dairy Queen ice cream cake.
... blog: I love Great Lakes Green Pages.
My usual hangout: During the week I'd say the gym or a restaurant or bar downtown after work. I like to stay active, so I'm sort of a "catch me if you can" person.
In high school I was ... voted most likely to succeed. I was also the only one wearing a Ninja Turtles T-shirt and a lip ring in my senior pictures because everyone else dressed up. I thought my mom wanted to kill me.
And now I'm ... a workaholic.
My best feature: My ability to relate to people.
My bad habit: Maybe over-booking things. ... I say yes to too many things.
My first kiss: It was nothing special. I don't really remember it! My last kiss was pretty good, though!
My guilty pleasure: The Jackson 5. I blast it in my condo and just jam to it.
How my ex would describe me: He would definitely say I'm very social and driven. He would also say I'm not very domesticated. ... I just bought a house, so I'm learning. It comes with age I guess.
Going out or staying in: Go out. I like to see people, do things. If I were to stay in, it'd be by myself most likely. I like to read or watch movies.
Early, late or right on time: It's situational for me.
Dogs or cats: Neither, I guess. I do fish. I don't have time to take care of an animal by myself. It's not fair to the animal.
Dancing ... yes or no?: Yes, definitely
Twitter ... yes or no?: Yes: twitter.com/clearcutkim
My longest relationship: On and off for probably three or four years. It was one of those high school to college relationships.
Beer, wine or martinis: Wine. I don't like anything really sweet.
Roses or chocolates: Neither. I'd rather get a card or something more creative that a guy made himself.
My No. 1 dating rule: Not answering the phone or texting if we're together, especially if it's the first date.
My deal-breaker: Someone who is too shy. I need equal conversation and a person who is receptive to what I'm saying and responding and communicating back. I also don't like guys with unnaturally big muscles.
I hate when a date ... is overly aggressive or too into himself.
But I love when a date ... pays attention to me. I like when it feels like it's just us.
Worst pickup line: "We're friends on Facebook" ... I get it a lot bartending, but then I have to be like, "Oh, ... awesome, ... what's your name again?"
If I could date anyone: I'd like it to be my best friend. Daniel Tosh might not be so bad, though.
On a first date I never ... reveal too much about myself.
Best place to meet someone: When I was in college, I thought it'd be college, but that didn't really work out. I don't know if there is a good place. I think it comes down to meeting someone then following up with them, either making a move or at least seeing them again.
Most unusual place I've met someone: I don't know. I don't have any crazy stories!
My take on Cleveland's single scene: It's what you make of it. It's tough when you're someone like me who works a lot. ... It's tough when people get in habits and hang out with the same social circles.
