Bryan Lerg, 27, Lake Erie Monsters left winger
Hidden talent: I have hobbies, but they're not really hidden. I don't have any hidden talents.
Biggest fear: Heights. I'm willing to do roller coasters, but they really get to me.
My bad habit: Biting my nails.
My guilty pleasure: Junk food. Oreos.
You'd never guess: That I'm missing a front tooth. I have a fake one that I wear. No one really knows unless I take it out. I got hit in the face with a hockey stick.
I can't live without: Definitely my family. They're always there through hard times and especially the hockey season — they watch all the games online.
My hero: My father. He's been a good father figure and led me down the right path, not just as an athlete but as a person. The way he carries himself — that's how I want to be when I am older.
On my bucket list: I've been to Europe before, but I would like to live there.
Biggest accomplishment: Winning the national championship in hockey when I was a junior in college at Michigan State [University].
When I'm not working: I'm relaxing, hanging out with the guys on my team during the season. In the off-season, if I'm not working out, I'm at my summer house or golfing.
Find me here on a Saturday night: A hockey rink. And after a hockey game, if we have Sunday off, I'll usually go out a bit with the guys and have some bonding time around downtown Cleveland.
If I had one wish: Health. Just to stay healthy, both during my career in hockey and in the future. That's something people take for granted, I feel.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: Back to college, when I won that national championship. Not many people can say they've done that.
On death row, my last meal would be: Probably Jet's Pizza. I'm a huge fan of Jet's Pizza, and it's something my friends and me always get on Sundays when we watch football.
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: I'm pretty sure no one would ever see me again, but I would probably buy a really badass yacht and disappear for a couple years. Just go travel the world in a yacht.
My No. 1 dating rule: Talking about your ex on a date — that's a real important one to me.
Deal-breakers: Smoking is one of them. And then, a Miss Know-It-All is a real turn-off for me. Someone who is obnoxious. I don't need a loud-mouthed, obnoxious girl in my life.
The perfect date: On a beach somewhere — that would be ideal, having dinner on a beach. But if we did something around here, going out to dinner and during the wintertime, walking around when the Christmas lights were out.
I'm a sucker for: I'm a sucker for blondes. And someone who can make me laugh.
Most romantic thing you've ever done: I was engaged before, so my proposal. I rented out a balcony in Las Vegas, and she had no idea it was coming. I had all the bells and whistles — it was during the water show at the Bellagio.
What I look for in a significant other: A great smile. Someone who is caring, who doesn't just like me because of my profession. And someone who is not looking for a bunch of attention.
Celebrity dream date: Blake Lively.
Celebrity look-alike: I've been told Matthew McConaughey because of my hair.
Dogs or cats: Dogs.
Beach or mountains: Beach.
Signature dish: Parmesan-crusted whitefish.
How I stay healthy: I exercise and skate every day because of hockey. It's pretty demanding on our bodies, so on my days off I try to recover and re-energize and get ready for the next day. It's something I've done my whole life, so I'm pretty used to it at this point.
Favorite ... love story: My parents. They were high school sweethearts. ... book: The autobiography of John Bailey, the professional golfer. Everything he's been through is pretty crazy and exciting, and the fact that he's still a professional golfer is pretty crazy. ... TV show: Friday Night Lights or Breaking Bad. ... movie: The first two Home Alone movies and anything with Will Ferrell in it. ... blog: I don't read any blogs. ... music: Country and hip-hop. ... restaurant: Fleming's Prime Steakhouse. ... app: Probably Twitter, just to keep with friends and hockey news and what's going on in the world.
What I'm reading: I don't really read.
iPod embarrassment: I may have some Justin Bieber on there.
I'm so over: Texting while talking. When you're having a conversation and while you're talking to someone, they're texting.
Dream job: I can't complain with hockey. This has been my dream job my whole life.
Dream vacation: Bora Bora or Fiji. Go there and stay in one of those huts on the water.
Best date I've been on: I went to three concerts in one week this summer with someone.
Worst date I've been on: Any date is horrible if the girl is not fun and not talkative. If you have a really quiet date that just makes things awkward.
