Hidden talent: It's making things aesthetically pleasing in terms of the home or at work.
Biggest fear: Not being able to accomplish the things that I want to accomplish in life. Or at least failing at the things that I try to do.
My bad habit: I go off of impulse a lot. And my patience level is pretty low.
My guilty pleasure: I have a lot of those! But I would say my guilty pleasure is definitely shoes.
You'd never guess: That I am really into animals and like animal protective services. People look at me — because I am apparently always so dressed up and always into makeup and I'm into fashion — and they don't understand that that would be a concern of mine. I want the animals to be treated fairly.
I can't live without: Something I can't live without is my family.
My hero: Definitely my mother. I know that's cliche, but she is very strong. She has been a definite role model in my life.
On my bucket list: I would like to take a very long tour of Europe.
Biggest accomplishment: Starting with a company such as Nordstrom at the very bottom and constantly working myself to the top. I've moved up pretty quickly. I was an intern, [and] I've moved up ever since. It's been such a good experience with a good company.
When I'm not working: I'm exploring the city of Cleveland, trying to find out new things to do. There's so much Cleveland has to offer that people don't even realize. I'm an East Sider ... but I've definitely been more inclined to be in the Ohio City, Tremont and Lakewood areas, because the West Side is so different.
Find me here on a Saturday night: I'd be out with my girlfriends at either a bar or just somewhere out on the town, having a good time with them — a party or what have you.
If I had one wish: It would be that the world would start to become a better place, and the violence would go away, and there would be nothing to worry about in terms of just going out into the world for the day.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: I was in Charleston, S.C., on a Jet Ski, and we got thrown from the Jet Ski and there was a shark right near us. We saw its fin on the top [of the water], and just started swimming and it was really scary. It was one of those moments when you see your life flash before your eyes. It was my ex-boyfriend and I, and he was trying to push me up onto the Jet Ski first. It was one of the most nerve-wracking things ever, but we finally zoomed off, thank goodness.
On death row, my last meal would be: Filet mignon and a lobster tail. And red velvet cheesecake.
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: First and foremost, I would pay off my student loans. I would definitely give some of it to Susan G. Komen, because I'm a huge advocate for breast cancer [research]. ... And then I would do lots of shopping and finally buy a Mercedes [-Benz] G-Series or G-Class.
My No. 1 dating rule: There has to be respect for me. And then he will get that in return.
Deal-breakers: A deal-breaker is someone who doesn't know how to communicate effectively or hold a good conversation.
The perfect date: Obviously dinner at a nice place, but then something else like a play or ice skating or something out of the norm — something like off the wall in addition to dinner. Something that's kind of like unexpected.
I'm a sucker for: A man with a nice physique — [and] also a really good tasting bottle of wine.
Most romantic thing you've ever done: I made his favorite meal and he was on his way home and I also ran a bath for him ... and we had dinner on the patio. I played a video of us from when we were at a wedding and we became officially together, and the patio was all lit up and we just got out and had a really nice dinner and talked and then got in the bath.
What I look for in a significant other: Obviously, I want them to be honest and upfront. I want them to be outgoing, respectful. I like for them to be open to new things.
Celebrity dream date: Lance Gross.
Celebrity look-alike: Because I have a short haircut, I usually get Halle Berry. But I also get, for my looks, the singer Keri Hilson.
Dogs or cats: Dogs, definitely.
Beach or mountains: Beaches.
Signature dish: Broiled salmon ... with a mango pineapple salsa on top, and veggies and rice on the side.
How I stay healthy: I do not work out and I eat a lot of food — so I guess the way I stay healthy is my high metabolism. That's about it.
Favorite ... love story: Noah and Allie in The Notebook. Their love for each other is just so deep ... book: Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts. ... TV show: Scandal, for sure. ... movie: Crash. ... blog: Fashion Toast. ... music: R&B and hip-hop. ... restaurant: Crop Bistro & Bar. ... app: RetailMeNot.
What I'm reading: I fell into the bandwagon — Fifty Shades of Grey. They're so good.
iPod embarrassment: I do have a few songs by Justin Bieber.
I'm so over: I'm so over five-minute celebrity relationships.
Dream job: I would love to be in some sort of visual merchandising role for a large retailer such as Nordstrom.
Dream vacation: I think my dream vacation would be to go to Greece. The beaches — everything looks so beautiful.
Best date I've been on: A date that was not cliche — it was more so catered to what I like, which is shopping, and it was really surprising for a man to arrange something like that. We just shopped around really little, small boutiques ... and then we went to dinner.
Worst date I've been on: I was out with a guy here in Cleveland and we went to dinner and he complained about his food, and then he complained about how expensive the bill was. It was the first date and it was kind of embarrassing. ... I had asked him to drop me off at home after, because we had plans after dinner but I didn't really want to continue the date. ... [On the way home,] he was playing music really loudly in the car, and he was belting out the lyrics and it was really weird. I didn't really know what was going on, but I was ready to get out of his car.
