Hidden talent: I study the Bible really in depth. No one would guess that from me because I don't really strike people as the religious type, which I'm not, but I study it a lot.
Biggest fear: I try not to worry about things a lot. Because I believe God is in control of a lot of things, what do I have to be afraid of?
My bad habit: I tend to be late to many things. I just have a lot of things that keep piling up, so as I finish one, I'm late for the next thing.
My guilty pleasure: When I get lonely, I sing Disney songs to myself. Like when I get sad, particularly that Mulan one ["Reflection"].
You'd never guess: People never guess my race, like never guess my race. I'm actually mixed — I'm Indian and part Arab.
I can't live without: I like to work out and cook, so a combination of those two. A lot of my friends from back home do that, so that's our bonding area.
My hero: In my definition, a hero is someone you admire to become. So in my field and in my family, there are a lot of people who are accomplished and goal-driven. I can't pick anyone person.
On my bucket list: One is to learn another language, Hindi, so when I go to India people can assume at least from my knowledge [of the language] that I'm Indian — and probably Jet Skiing on Lake Erie.
Biggest accomplishment: I don't think back and think that I've had a huge accomplishment. I want to finish my Ph. D. I want to move from part time to full time. Some people think I'm accomplished, but by my estimation I'm still a work in progress.
When I'm not working:, I'm working out, I'm cooking or I'm at my Bible study stuff.
Find me here on a Saturday night: I'm really obsessed with the Cavs, so either going out and watching the Cavs somewhere or anywhere downtown Cleveland is ... fun.
If I had one wish: I obviously can't say more wishes, so if I can't pick more wishes ... I'd want it to be better weather for Cleveland. Oh, oh! And a championship for the Cavs. Oh my Lord, if that happened that's enough — my life is complete.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: When I went to India in 2011. Going back and seeing all my relatives, seeing what it's developed into, was crazy.
On death row, my last meal would be: Something really super spicy. I wouldn't have to worry about indigestion and all that stuff later.
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: It would be so weird. I'd probably be in shock for some time, and then I'd probably invest because I would get returns on it.
My No. 1 dating rule: She has to be over 18 and under 70, maybe. How old is Madonna? She's like 70.
Deal-breakers: At this point in my life, kids. I'm not ready to be a dad yet.
The perfect date: I don't really think there is such a thing as a perfect date. It's more fun if things don't go according to plan. In terms of what we do, I don't really care. Probably nothing too expensive at first — not that I'm cheap, but if I feel like I have to spend a lot of money to impress this person, it's probably not going to work out.
I'm a sucker for: Pretty eyes, long hair, in that order. And then there's legs.
Most romantic thing you've ever done: Paid for the food. I'm really not a romantic person, so I guess that's about it.
What I look for in a significant other: She has to be Christian. Cooking skills ... that goes a long way. Likes to work out, stable.
Celebrity dream date: To be perfectly honest, I don't have a celebrity crush, because a lot of them have problems I don't want to deal with.
Celebrity look-alike: A lot of people tell me Chris Brown, but I'm not violent and I'm probably not that good of a dancer.
Dogs or cats: Dogs, hands down. I don't know why anyone would get a cat. To me, if I'm going to get attacked, my cat is not going to save me — he's probably going to run away. My dog will probably stay.
Beach or mountains: I'm not a big fan of the cold, so it would be beach.
Signature dish: I make these little jalapeno burgers.
How I stay healthy: I'm slightly obsessed in that area. I have a nutritionist. I have some friends who are trainers ... so keeping up with them. I cook a lot, and I try not to get too stressed a lot.
Favorite ... love story: Would Shrek count as a love story? Two monsters falling in love — what's more romantic than that? ... book: Obviously, it's the Bible. ... TV show: Lately, Catfish. It's crazy what you can find on the Internet. ... movie: I like Four Brothers a lot. ... blog: I'm not really into blogs. ... music: I like hip-hop a lot. Anything I can twerk to is generally good. I'm kidding about the twerking part. ... restaurant: Buffalo Wild Wings because I can watch the game there and get a burger, which is a double win. ... app: The disco light app. It has the flash so if we have to work late in our lab, we turn it into a rave — minus the ecstasy.
What I'm reading: I read a lot of sports science and training articles.
iPod embarrassment: I do have [Justin] Bieber on there. The guy's got some hits.
I'm so over: I almost got into this skinny jean trend, but because I work out my glute and hamstring regions, they wouldn't fit — so I ripped four pants trying to sit down. The trend got rid of me.
Dream job: I really like what I'm doing. But if I had to pick something I'm not doing, there's professional physique athletes and muscle model kind of things.
Dream vacation: Anything with a beach. The Bahamas. I've been down there already, but I wouldn't mind going again with one of those inclusive food things and just eat and breathe.
Best date I've been on: All of my dates are really fun. It doesn't matter what we're doing. I don't need environment to have a good time, as long as our personalities get along.
Worst date I've been on: If the girl is super, super quiet that's typically not fun.
