>> The perfect date: I like workout dates. They’re fun, especially if they’re outdoors — running through nature with someone you really like.

>> The perfect date: I like workout dates. They’re fun, especially if they’re outdoors — running through nature with someone you really like.
>> Something most people don’t know about me: I’m shy and a bit uncomfortable in large crowds.
>> Biggest turn-on: Humor and intelligence. I love to laugh, and I love people who can make me think — people who challenge me.
>> I own too many: Overdue library books
>> My favorite ... place in Cleveland: Any spot on the lake where I’m not sharing the beach with a lot of people ... book: Anything written by Saul Bellow, or Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man ... dessert: Blackberry cobbler a la mode ... bar: When I just want to be left alone, I go to the Cascade Lounge in the Glenville neighborhood.
>> My best feature: My ability to laugh at myself
>> My first kiss: Her name was Belinda, I was 14, and we were in her mother’s basement. I never saw that basement again, because she would have turned me into a teen father.
>> Early, late or right on time: It depends on where I’m headed. If I’m going to dinner, I’m always on time. If it’s for a deadline, my editor probably thinks I’m late.
>> My longest relationship: Six years
>> My No. 1 dating rule: Listen to everything I say, but don’t take me too seriously.
>> If I could marry anyone: I don’t always agree with her politics, but Condoleezza Rice. She has extreme almost terrifying intelligence;, extreme, almost prodigy musical abilities;, she loves her sports;, her father was a minister; and she seems so well-rounded in so many areas of her life. In addition to that, I find her very attractive.
