I have been a subscriber to Cleveland Magazine for several years and always have enjoyed the magazine. However, I noticed in "Rating the Suburbs" (June 2014) that my hometown, Valley View, seems to have been overlooked. What are we? Invisible? We have low taxes, belong to Cuyahoga Heights School District, have affordable housing, and much more. Perhaps you could clarify this omission for me.

Editor's Note: To be included in our Rating the Suburbs issue, communities need to have a population of 3,000 residents or more. Suburbs such as Valley View, Gates Mills and Bratenahl don't meet that requirement.
Suburbs should also be rated for access to and distance from great locations, such as the Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Museum of Art, University Circle, Progressive Field, hospitals, restaurants and so on.

I enjoyed "Lights, Camera, Action!" (April 2014). But why didn't you include Those Lips, Those Eyes, a wistful musical of summer theater filmed in the 1970s by United Artists at Cain Park's amphitheater in Cleveland Heights? More than 1,500 people auditioned to play extras in the movie. My son, daughter and I were among the 150 chosen. We each earned $25 a day. We were cut from the movie, but had no regrets.
